Khatib Shalat Jumat di Teheran Desak G5+1 Terima Program Nuklir Iran
Teheran (ANTARA/IRNA-OANA) - Khatib pengganti Shalat
Jumat di Teheran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati di dalam khotbah keduanya
mendesak G5+1 agar menerima program nuklir damai Iran.
Saat menyambut baik diakhirinya sanksi terhadap Teheran, Ayatollah
Jannati menyatakan G5+1 --lima anggota tetap pemegang hak veto di Dewan
Keamanan PBB ditambah Jerman-- tak mempunyai pilihan selain menerima
baik program nuklir damai Iran.
"Kendati menghadapi sanksi, bangsa ini telah membuat kemajuan besar
dalam berbagai bidang ilmu pengetahuan; kedatangan banyak warga dalam
pawai peringatan ulang tahun Revolusi pada tanggal 22 bulan Bahman
kalendar Iran (10 Februari) membuktikan rakyat terikat komitmen untuk
terus mendukung gagasan revolusinya, termasuk hak untuk memiliki energi
nuklir damai."
Dengan menyelenggarakan acara pada tanggal 22 bulan Bahman, kalendar
Iran, rakyat Iran memperingati ulang tahun ke-34 Revolusi Islam 1979.
Sementara itu, Ayatollah Jannati menyoroti setiap hari pembunuhan
orang Syiah di Pakistan oleh tangan kaum fanatik, dan menyatakan agen AS
memancing serangan semacam itu guna menyebar perpecahan di kalangan
umat Muslim, demikian laporan IRNA --yang dipantau ANTARA di Jakarta,
Sabtu.
Kaum Syiah Pakistan telah menghadapi serangan yang meningkat dalam
beberapa bulan belakangan. Dalam satu kasus belum lama ini, lebih dari
45 orang Syiah tewas dalam satu serangan terhadap masyarakat Syiah di
Karachi pada awal Maret
