JAKARTA -- Komisi I DPR mendesak Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono
(SBY) melobi negara-negara Organisasi Konferensi Islam (OKI) untuk
membantu menyelesaikan krisis politik di Mesir. Karena Indonesia
termasuk negara berpenduduk Muslim yang cukup dihormati di kalangan
negara OKI. "SBY harus lakukan lobi tingkat tinggi ke negara-negara
OKI," kata Wakil Ketua Komisi I Agus Gumiwang di Kompleks Parlemen
Senayan, Rabu (31/7).
Agus berpendapat diplomasi melalui jalur OKI lebih efektif ketimbang Indonesia mengirim pasukan perdamaian atau
special envoy. Karena secara politis tekanan yang disampaikan banyak negara lebih efektif. "Kalau upaya mengirim
special envoy
ke Mesir tidak berhasil. Mengikutkan banyak pihak seperti mengikut
serta negara-negara yang tergabung dalam OKI, itu jauh lebih baik," ujar
Agus.
Sayangnya Agus juga meragukan komitmen negara-negara OKI
menyelesaikan krisis politik di Mesir. Karena selama ini OKI memang
cenderung kurang proaktif dalam berbagai persoalan politik di Timur
Tengah seperti misalnya Suriah. "Konsep mendorong negara-negara OKI
merupakan upaya sangat baik. Tapi apakah negara-negara OKI mempunyai
political will?" tanya politisi Golkar itu.
Sementara itu Ketua Komisi I DPR, Mahfudz Siddiq mendesak SBY campur
tangan mengatasi krisis politik di Mesir. Karena Indonesia adalah
penggagas Bali Democracy Forum yang sering dijadikan rujukan
berdemokrasi negara-negara Arab. "SBY seharusnya ambil peran terdepan
sikapi pembantaian brutal terhadap pendukung Mursi oleh rezim militer
Mesir," kata Mahfudz.
Politisi PKS ini mengatakan SBY seharusnya meminta rezim militer yang
berkuasa menghentikan pembantaian terhadap rakyat Mesir. Dia juga
meminta SBY berbicara ke sekjen PBB dan sejumlah kepala negara besar
untuk menekan rezim militer Mesir segera menghentikan tindakan brutal
yang melanggar demokrasi dan HAM.
"Bahkan Indonesia bersama sejumlah negara bisa mendesak PBB membuat
tim investigasi untuk membawa pelaku dan penanggung jawab pembantaian
ini ke peradilan kriminal internasional," ujar Mahfudz.
