Hashtag (tagar) #SaveEgypt menjadi perbincangan dunia. Tagar di situs microblogging Twitter itu menjadi trending topic dunia.

sudah mulai ramai di-tweet sejak pukul 20.45 WIB, Senin (29/7). Tagar
ini sebagai bentuk dukungan warga Indonesia terhadap Presiden Sah
Muhammad Mursi.
Awalnya, FSLDK Indonesia menginisiasi hashtag
tersebut. Lalu netizen – sebutan untuk para warga internet – ramai-ramai
memberikan dukungan kepada Presiden sah Mesir Muhammad Mursi. Twitter
resmi FSLDK Indonesia yaitu @fsldkindonesia menyampaikan bahwa banyak
sekali jasa Mesir kepada Indonesia mulai dari perjuangan mendapatkan
kemerdekaan Indonesia sampai sekarang.
Sekitar pukul 21.30 WIB
(29/7/2013) tagar itu mulai menjadi trending topic. #SaveEgypt berhasil
menembus daftar trending topic nomor 7 di dunia, nomor 2 di Indonesia,
dan menjadi trending topic nomor satu di berbagai kota di Indonesia.
Sebelumnya
pada Minggu (29/7/2013) FSLDK Indonesia mengadakan aksi di depan
Kedubes Mesir sebagai bentuk aksi protes dan menyatakan dukungan ke
Presiden Mursi. Tagar #SaveEgypt berhasil menembus daftar trending
topic Indonesia. Tagar ini sudah mulai ramai sejak pukul 20.45 WIB
hingga akhirnya menjadi trending topic di Indonesia.
Aksi serentak
ini sebagai perwujudan keprihatinan atas ketidakseimbangan pemberitaan
media di Indonesia dan acuhnya pemerintah atas kondisi Mesir saat ini.
Mesir merupakan negara yang pertama kali mengakui keberadaan negara
Indonesia. Mudah-mudahan dengan menjadinya trending topic ini terdapat
kesadaran pemerintah dan warga Indonesia untuk membantu Mesir.
Berdasarkan
pantauan redaksi dakwatuna.com, #SaveEgypt masih menjadi ‘trending
topic’ di Twitter hingga Selasa (30/7/2013) pagi ini. Hashtag #SaveEgypt
dominan muncul dari Indonesia. Selebihnya juga muncul di Malaysia,
Amerika, Korea, Mesir, Palestina, Turki, Spanyol, Inggris, Itali, dll.
