TURKI memutuskan untuk membekukan sejumlah perjanjian dengan Mesir,
surat kabar Sabah mengatakan pada hari Selasa kemarin (30/7/2013).
Menurut surat kabar, perjanjian bilateral di bidang perawatan
transportasi, pendidikan dan kesehatan telah dibekukan. Selain itu,
Turki telah menghentikan pengiriman kendaraan udara tanpa awak buatan
Turki ANKA ke Mesir.
Ada beberapa ketegangan dalam hubungan antara Turki dan Mesir setelah
penggulingan mantan Presiden Mursi. Ankara menyebut peristiwa di Mesir
merupakan “kudeta militer” dan mengatakan rezim baru di Mesir tidak
sah.
Pada tanggal 3 Juli, militer Mesir menggulingkan Presiden Muhammad
Mursi, membekukan konstitusi dan meminta kepala Mahkamah Konstitusi
untuk bertindak sebagai kepala negara selama masa transisi.
Pengadilan Mesir juga telah membuat keputusan untuk menahan Mursi
selama 15 hari di bawah investigasi yang sedang berlangsung, pada
tanggal 26 Juli lalu. Pengadilan menuduh Mursi kerjasama dengan Hamas,
serta berhasil melarikan diri dari penjara selama revolusi tahun 2011
atas bantuan pejuang Palestina.
