SBY Akan Dilempar Sepatu jika Hadiri Kongres HMI

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Sejumlah pengurus cabang
Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam yang menamakan diri sebagai Gerakan Nasional
HMI Anti SBY, Kamis (14/3/2013), menyatakan menolak kehadiran Presiden
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) dalam pembukaan kongres ke-28 HMI pada
15-22 Maret di Jakarta. Jika Presiden nekat datang ke acara tersebut,
maka mereka mengancam akan melemparnya dengan sepatu.
Hal tersebut
disampaikan Abdul Syukur Oumu selaku koordinator aksi dari Gerakan
Nasional HMI Anti SBY. Menurut Abdul, mereka akan berupaya menghalangi
kehadiran Presiden Yudhoyono dalam acara tersebut karena mereka menilai
figur SBY sangat tidak sesuai dengan cita-cita perjuangan dari lahirnya
HMI, yaitu menjadi kader umat dan kader bangsa.
"Jadi buat apa
mendengarkan omong kosong SBY. Bagi kami, melempar sepatu ke SBY adalah
tindakan yang halal," kata Abdul dalam jumpa pers di Bakoel Coffee,
Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis sore.
Abdul juga
mengkritik Pengurus Besar HMI yang saat ini cenderung pragmatis dan
tidak bertindak sesuai dengan hakikat lahirnya HMI. Untuk itu, sudah
seharusnya segala bentuk intervensi SBY ditolak. "Jangan segala
kepentingan SBY
diakomodir," kata Abdul yang merupakan perwakilan dari Cabang HMI Kupang.
Gerakan
HMI Anti SBY merupakan gerakan perlawanan dari beberapa pengurus cabang
HMI. Gerakan tersebut terdiri atas 10 cabang, yakni Depok, Kupang,
Namlea, Bengkulu, Labuan Batu Raya, Sukoharjo, Selong, Bekasi, dan
Jember.
