Angga Aliya - Bagi wisatawan, Irak adalah negara yang tak terlalu
ramah. Namun bukan berarti turis tidak bisa berkunjung ke sini. Anda
hanya harus waspada, karena banyak sengketa, bersiaplah dengan 'kejutan'
di sana.
detikTravel dan beberapa jurnalis lain mendarat di Irak
tanggal 13 Maret 2013 pukul 09.30 waktu setempat. Begitu sampai, kami
langsung disambut KBRI dan melewati jalur khusus delegasi Indonesia.
Sialnya,
kami sempat terjebak di elevator karena beban yang dibawa terlalu
banyak. Sekitar 20 menit terjebak, elevator akhirnya dibukakan oleh
petugas bandara.
Sedangkan di imigrasi, turis biasa bisa lebih
lancar prosesnya dibanding orang yang membawa kamera besar baik itu
untuk memotret atau merekam. Jurnalis dari media televisi terpaksa
tertahan selama 5 jam untuk mengurus izin kamera.
Sesampainya di
Baghdad, suasana gersang langsung menyapa. Pasir terlihat di mana-mana,
rumah-rumah tidak dicat dan dibiarkan berwarna cokelat. Bukan karena
malas, namun karena sering terjadi badai pasir sehingga jika dicat pun
akan percuma. Warnanya akan kembali cokelat.
Kebanyakan mobil di
sana berwarna putih. Menurut orang KBRI, dipilih warna putih agar tidak
terlalu terlihat kotor akibat pasir. Masyarakat Irak pun mencuci mobil
dengan cara yang cukup unik dan praktis. Hanya disiram air dan menunggu
kering dengan sendirinya.
Pemberhentian pertama kami adalah Hotel
Al Rasheed yang terletak di Green Zone atau area steril untuk
pemerintahan di Baghdad. Yang harus diperhatikan saat traveling di sini
adalah saat memotret atau merekam. Mengambil gambar sangat dilarang
meski sudah mengantongi izin, terutama jika bertemu tentara atau polisi.
Untuk bisa masuk ke Green Zone, ada beberapa tahap yang harus
dilalui. Ada sekitar 5-6 tahapan yang harus dilewati, tergantung akses
masuknya. Pemeriksaan dilakukan mulai dari dokumen, metal detektor,
anjing pelacak hingga sinar X.
Green zone ini dikelilingi
tembok-tembok beton yang menjulang tinggi sekitar 4 meter seperti Tembok
Berlin. Di atasnya dipasang kawat berduri supaya tidak ada orang yang
bisa memanjat masuk.
Hotel Al Rasheed merupakan hotel yang
digunakan untuk tamu-tamu kenegaraan. Sementara untuk tamu lainnya,
termasuk detikTravel, menginap di Al Mansour di luar Green Zone.
Kelebihan hotel ini adalah pemandangannya yang mantap karena letaknya
tepat di pinggir Sungai Tigris.
Dhuar! Sempat terjadi pemboman
saat detikTravel dan rombongan berada di Green Zone. Saat itu, semua
delegasi Indonesia sedang berada di kantor deputi Perdana Menteri Irak
untuk menyaksikan MoU antara Indonesia dan Irak.
Dentuman
terdengar sekitar 4 kali, disusul oleh mati listrik. Waktu itu sekitar
pukul 15.00 waktu setempat. Awalnya, tidak ada yang sadar dengan
kejadian ini karena Irak memang sering mati listrik. Dalam satu hari,
bisa saja Irak mati listrik selama 4 jam.
Namun setelah pihak
KBRI dapat laporan bahwa telah terjadi pemboman sekitar 700 meter dari
kantor KBRI, barulah semua sadar bahwa di luar Green Zone terjadi
insiden. Kabarnya, pemboman ini menewaskan 25 orang dan 50 orang
luka-luka.
Suasana di luar Green Zone cukup mencekam dan
menegangkan. Banyak mobil polisi berseliweran juga mobil-mobil lapis
baja milik militer yang di atasnya ada senjata otomotis berkaliber cukup
besar.
Hotel Al Mansour tempat kami menginap berada hanya 1 km
dari lokasi pemboman, yaitu di Kementerian Kehakiman. Dari kabar yang
beredar, bom tersebut merupakan 3 bom bunuh diri di masing-masing pintu
masuk Kementerian Kehakiman. Serta, satu lagi bom mobil yang sebelumnya
digunakan oleh 3 orang pelaku bom bunuh diri tadi.
Kami sempat
melewati jalan dekat lokasi pengeboman tetapi langsung disuruh memutar
ke jalan lain karena akses jalan tersebut ditutup. Sesampainya di hotel,
pihak KBRI meminta kami untuk tetap diam di hotel sampai situasi lebih
aman.
Bagian depan hotel pun dijaga ketat oleh tentara dan untuk
masuk hotel harus melalui metal detektor serta pemeriksaan. Beberapa
suara tembakan sempat terdengar menjelang maghrib. Suara tersebut
berasal dari cek poin yang berada di salah jembatan yang menyeberangi
Sungai Tigris.
Namun, adanya bom itu tidak menghentikan acara
pernikahan yang digelar di hotel Al Mansour. Malam itu, digelar 5
pernikahan dan semuanya berjalan dengan lancar tanpa ada insiden.
Warga
Irak sudah terbiasa dengan bom dan suara tembakan. Jadi, bukanlah hal
yang luar biasa jika ada satu atau dua bom yang meledak dalam sehari.
Namun bagi para wisatawan, ini merupakan pengalaman yang sangat berbeda
dan menegangkan
